An Award Winning Festival

. . . Legendary Thank You's

. . . Well now don’t I just know how that feels? When I really believe in something, or someone, it’s pretty hard for me to “zip it.” So I‘ve been going on and on about the Macon Film Festival to anyone who would listen for the past four years. And, even in those first couple of years, when the crowds were scarce and things didn’t necessarily look promising . . . I kept telling people that this Festival was something special.

I think we’ve got your attention now!

Ticket sales that nearly tripled our expectations, media coverage that had Miss J (Jessica Walden) hunting a bumper sticker that says “Have you hugged your local media member today?” and Celebrities that couldn’t have possibly been more complimentary have left us only one thing to say . . .

To those of you who helped make this happen - THANK YOU! To those of you who still haven't really seen what it's all about - I sure hope we'll see you next year. And to those of you who couldn't be with us . . .

"She still talks to me now, only now she talks to me in my dreams. And I can't wait to go to sleep tonight because we have a lot to talk about. I love you."
(to his Grandmother - who was more concerned with his becoming a Southern Gentleman than an Oscar Winner.)
